Children have the opportunity to tell any story they want when they make video art. A Child can get really creative with video art because they have infinite choices when it come to the background, dialogue, plot, text, music, pictures, props. Furthermore, working on a video can be a great team exercise for children.

Recreating History with video
The goal of this assignment is to reinforce what they children are learning in their social studies class, while also teaching artists how to create a video
I would let students rate if they want to be an actor, cinematographer, and editor. Then, I would split the children into film teams. Each film time will be given an historical topic to write a short film about.
They would make the films over the course of a couple lessons, then we will share and talk about what we learned.
