Circuit

 1) light up  the art classroom with fireflies ! It is made with a simple series circuit composed with a battery, copper tape, and a led light. 

2)Children can use electronics in school to learn very interesting things, so much more than just spelling and counting. For instance, students can play a fun space game that teaches them about the gravity of the sun and the explosion of stars (Twenty Things to do with a computer , Papert and Solomon, 13). This sort of thing can be brought into the art classroom by teaching students scratch, and allowing them to design their own educational game.  

I was also very impressed with the turtle software that creates shapes and spirals.. I am not quite sure how it works, but I would love to incorporate the spirit of exploring advanced geometry in my art class room with the computer. I will use adobe software such as photoshop and illustrator to let my students design complex geometric compositions.
